Soprano, Returning Artist Guild Member
Andrea ‘Draye‘ Mitchell, 34, was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio by her mother Tonya Elder. Andrea was a part of her church and school choirs and has always loved to sing and perform. Unfortunately, some misjudgments in her life led her to do a 6-year sentence at The Dayton Correctional Institution. While incarcerated she met with Dr. Catherine Roma and became a member of HopeThru Harmony Dayton inspirational choir. In her time with the choir Draye learned classical music and was able to meet and sing for Dr. Rosephyne Powell and Dr. Ysaye Maria Barnwell. Andrea’s love of music and stage runs deep, and all she does is in pursuit of her dream of performing for live audiences.
