Chandler Johnson, tenor, a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where he completed his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees, studying under Thomas Baresel. While at CCM, Chandler performed the roles of Riunccio in Gianni Schicchi, Lurcanio in Ariodante, Governor in Candide and workshopped Intimate Apparel by American composer Ricky Ian Gordon. This past summer, Chandler joined the Chautauqua Opera as a Studio Artist where he covered the roles of Governor/Vanderdendur/Ragotski in Candide and was featured in a fully staged scenes program. Recently, Chandler covered the role of Candide and was seen as a featured ensemble member in Candide presented by The Knights NYC at Tanglewood Music Festival and will join to the company again in 2019 for the same show at Ravinia Festival.
