Riccardo S. Jimenez (Commissioner) is noted for a “clean, beautiful, expressive Voice with a definite ringing ping and distinctive color.” This quoted from a recent vocal judge sitting at the 2018 Classical Singer Vocal Competition in Boston Massachusetts where he placed semi-finalist. In this competition he was awarded the Bach-Millennium Music Summer Scholarship for Santa Clara California and The International Kashu-Do Scholarship for Nyland-Sandslan, Sweden.
In his hometown Miami, FL Riccardo had his first introduction with Opera as a chorus member in the Florida Grand Opera for the Productions of Carmen and Eugene Onegin. During the same period
Riccardo volunteered as a chorus member and backup soloist in the summer production of The Elixir of Love for the Miami Dade Community College.
Riccardo currently lives in Columbus, Ohio and is under the vocal Guidance of PhD musical arts-voice Andrew Blosser at Ohio State University.
