Jackie Schiffner began her dance training in Huntington Beach, Calif. at Orange County Dance Center. After graduating high school, Ms. Schiffner attended the University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. While at USC, Ms. Schiffner had the opportunity to work closely with artists including Jodie Gates, William Forsythe, Desmond Richardson, Patrick Corbin, and Zippora Karz amongst many others. She was also fortunate enough to perform a variety of repertory in Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, New York, and Tokyo. Upon graduating as part of the inaugural class in May 2019 with a BFA in Dance, Jackie moved to Columbus for her first season with BalletMet 2.
