Baritone/Tenor, Lincoln Theatre’s “Expand Your Horizon” Incubation Program 2020 Graduate
Tyrell J. Reggins is an artist originally from central Ohio. He found his passion for the arts in high school (East High). After high school, he went to college at Wright State University where he studied Theatre Arts and got his B.A. in Fine Arts. After Graduation, Tyrell taught drama at a charter school where he became their first drama teacher and built the program from the ground up. Tyrell has always been into theatre and performing, and has done shows at places like the Jewish Center and Short North Stage. Some of his credits include Ragtime, Dreamgirls, and Hair. Soon after, Tyrell decided to move to New York to open his creative mind and try his hand in the big field. He did well in New York and performed in shows like Sister Act and Ragtime (for a second time). Tyrell is now back and teaching at an elementary school in the Columbus City School district and is also the drama club teacher.
